What is cancer?

Leukemia is also called blood cancer. Leukemia causes when healthy blood cells mutate and develop uncontrollably. The four main leukemia varieties are- chronic lymphocytic leukemia, acute lymphocytic leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, and acute myeloid leukemia. 

3. Sarcomas

Sarcoma originates in the tissues that hold and attach to the body. These types of cancer can form in cartilage, bone, muscles, fat, tendons, nerves, joints, lymph vessels, and blood vessels. Examples of sarcomas are- Leiomyosarcoma, osteogenic sarcoma or Osteosarcoma, Chondrosarcoma, etc.

4. Lymphomas

Lymphoma occurs in the lymphatic system. Now, the lymphatic system is a web of glands and vessels that assist in fighting infection. There are two common types of lymphomas- non-Hodgkin lymphoma and Hodgkin lymphoma. 

How to medicate cancer?

After identifying the type and stage, the treatment starts according to modern medicines. There are several ways of treating a cancer patient. However, these methods are not safe and always have a level of side-effects. These are showing promising results, and likewise, further research is necessary to intensify them all!

1. Chemotherapy

This is a meditation-based treatment where powerful drugs are used to kill the infected cancer cells. It is an effective way of treatment. The infected cells grow and reproduce much faster than other cells. Therefore, by using powerful chemicals, these fast-growing cells should be terminated.

2. Surgery

It is a method in which an expert surgeon separates infected cells from your body. They carefully remove the part and the surrounding cells to prevent the cancer cell from developing.

3. Radiation Therapy

In radiation therapy, high radiation or X-rays helps to kill cancer cells. This procedure is also used to shrink tumors and then remove that by surgery. There are different side effects of this treatment. They are- hair loss, vomiting, headaches, nausea, etc.

4. Hormone Therapy

This is effective for breast and prostate cancers. It decreases or prevents the growth of prostate or breast cancers that utilize hormones to develop further.

5. Cancer Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy is a new remedy. It boosts your immune system to resist disease. Meditations are used to boost the immune system. Thus, they can identify and destroy the damaging cells.

6. Other methods

Additionally, complex new techniques like- Precision Medicine, Targeted Therapy, Stem Cell Transplant, Biomarker testing, etc., are also used to treat cancer.
